Theodosius of Baltsky, reverend

Holy Righteous Theodosius was born on January 11, 1791 in Little Russia, in the village. Korytny of the Kamyanets-Podolsk province in the pious priestly family of Nestor and Justina Levitsky. It was a difficult time for the Orthodox population of Podolia, subordinate to Poland. Raised in the Orthodox spirit, Feodosia at the age of 13 was assigned for further study at the Kamenets-Podolsk Theological Seminary, during which he enriched himself with a variety of knowledge and became a fully educated youth, full of selfless devotion to the Church of Christ.
