Maximus of Antioch, martyr

He suffered along with the martyr Juventinus during the reign of Emperor Julian the Apostate, during which they served as bodyguards. Arriving in Antioch, the emperor ordered to sprinkle the blood of idols on all the products in the markets and the water in the wells. Saints Juventinus and Maximus opposed this decree, and Julian ordered their execution
