Maronite

The Maronite Church, rooted in the West Syriac Antiochene tradition, has upheld its loyalty to Catholicism since the Fourth Century, maintaining unbroken ties with the Pope and the Church of Rome. Some prayers in its liturgy are spoken in Aramaic, the language of Jesus Christ. Named after St. Maron, a fourth-century Syrian hermit, the Maronite Church embraces its rich heritage.
